Our destination was Waterton. They had a very nice park for kids in the middle of town that we took advantage of.
We did a little sightseeing and had what seemed to be an expensive dinner. I found out after getting home that the prices on the receipt were listed in CAD$ and my credit card converted them to a decent amount less in american dollars. They did, however, charge me a conversion fee for each time I used my card!
We chose to drive back through the park from Canada, and stopped for several photo ops.
These pics are back at my favorite pull-in and park of Lake McDonald.
The boys REALLY wanted to swim in the lake, and they finally got their chance.
On our last day, we fulfilled the promise of taking the boys to the water park that we drove by every day in town. Griffin was fearless on the water slides. It made me nervous. Cooper was more interested in spectating once he learned he did NOT care for the splash at the end of the slide.
We also got to do a little more hiking. This trip to Avalanche Lake was about 6 miles round trip. It was a little challenging for the boys but they hardly complained. Though pictures don't do it justice as you can imagine, the view was worth every step. Here are part 1 of pics:
Now we jump to the trip home.....
Coming into Chicago:
I should have really tried to get this video to go viral. Cooper started waving out the window. Upon investigation, I realized he had made a friend.
This was the journey to Avalanche Lake, from the very beginning of the walk.
And the following are pictures of Shiloh's from various parts of the trip:

I am so thankful for all of my life experiences! We are very blessed to be able to go on trips and do things with family. I realize more and more though, it's not about where we go and what we have, but the quality of our time together in those moments.
