February Monthly Update

It's obvious the weather has been better, because I have so many more photos to post for the past month. We've been outside working, playing, and going on more fun adventures.

Cooper baby is officially 1 1/2 years old.

He had his first real illness this month. It started as a high fever, and 2 doctor visits later, we found it was a double ear infection and pneumonia. At the same time he was working on a bottom molar, and 4 top teeth. That was the saddest he has been since birth! I'm happy to say we are beyond it now and he had a good check up with the doctor on Friday.

Height: 32" - 40.9%
Weight: 20lbs 12oz - 1.9%
Head: 48cm - 56.5%
Words: Mama, Dada, bye bye, no, Duke, donut, more, please, thank you, Bri, bubba, uh oh
Favorite foods: most meats, yogurt, pretty much anything except Cool Ranch Doritos
# of teeth: 11 all the way in, 1 partially in, 2 poking through the gum
Sleep pattern: usually 8-9pm to 7-8am, but since he's been sick he's awake once a night

Griffin lies beside me as I type this. He is keeping his dad's spot warm. Drew is in Rochester with Mimi, as she prepares for hopefully her last surgery tomorrow. I don't mind. I enjoy this extra time with him. I probably sound really repetitive, but Griffin gets more mature every day and is really growing up. For the most part, he is like an extra set of eyes and hands to help with Cooper. I really appreciate that.

To summarize some of his favorites: color is blue, number is "thirty sixty", food is cheeseburgers, toy is Legos, and animal is Cotton/Howie/Rocky.

Valentine Mini Session

I wasn't sure how this frantic 15 minute session would turn out. Cooper was obsessed with a big bunch of pink and red balloons and would only play with them, until I took him out of sight for her to hide them in another room.

Griffin was doing his typical, very forced smile....when he would actually look at the camera. He is always so concerned with what Cooper is doing. He's getting better at pausing with a genuine smile.

I feel like I'm lacking in photos lately, but soon the weather will be better and we'll be outside, doing more activities.

I love these little sweethearts.
