March Monthly Update

March has been like they all are, busy but lots of fun.

We've had some really sweet moments, and some not so much. Griffin is still learning how to share and be tolerant of his little brother, who is now getting big enough to fight with.

Briley turned 8! We had fun at his dog themed birthday party.

Recurring theme lately, one or both of the boys think they need to sleep in our bed. I hope this is just a stage. We've got Griffin back in his for the most part, but little brother is still waking in the night on occasion and he does not go back to sleep until he's laying between us.

We've played outside A LOT. That may be the culprit for all the allergy/cold type symptoms going on. It's probably time to start giving Griffin a claritin everyday.

They love to drive, and fight over the chance to sit behind the wheel.
Pa is a good teacher.

Grandma Kathi and Grandpa Don had dinner at our house one evening. She was a major help the week that daycare thought Cooper (and then Griffin) had pink eye.

Cotton is getting a lot of exercise and runs around the farm, between Drew most evenings and me when I get a chance on the weekend. He has hunting on his mind ALL the time.

PAT had their annual egg hunt one day last week at the "big school" aka the elementary. Griffin can't wait to go to preschool this fall. This year, the older kids were lined up and let loose while the parents watched. While I was chatting with another parent, I noticed Griffin was frantically running around, passing gazillions of eggs. We had a little talk before getting there about how he didn't need to fill his bucket and to leave some for other kids. I was afraid he would go into super hoarder mode, so I had a good laugh when he showed me what he had picked up.

We had a nice, long Easter weekend. I was off work on Friday and took the boys to see the pediatrician. We've all had runny noses, or coughs, or nasty eyes in the morning. They got a good report and Cooper got his final shot until he starts school.

Afterward, we stopped by Aunt Sherry's house. I went to get my car washed and I think the boys convinced Sherry to drive them around on the tractor the ENTIRE time I was gone.

After church Sunday, we had a small egg hunt in town.

And last but not least, the monthly pics for the scrapbook.
