Cooper took to calling everyone "Mrs....." or "Mr......." but it even extended to me. "Mrs. Mommy" this and "Mrs. Mommy" that, all the time.
He also had an unforgettable night of not only throwing up but also a major diarrhea attack IN OUR BED. Good times. A couple weeks later, we actually spent Thanksgiving afternoon at the doctor. I'm so glad they were open and that we went, because my the time we arrived, Little Coop had a fever over 102. Croup is miserable.
Griffin has really taken to reading and wants to read any words he sees. He's picked up on that naturally. Absolutely zero chance of trying to spell something without him figuring it out. He tries especially hard when he heard us because he knows it's something we don't want him to hear.
A funny thing he's been doing lately (only because it's not in a psychopath way, I hope) is coming up with any and all excuses why he doesn't need to go to sleep. One of them, in the most exasperated voice possible, "I have all these thoughts in my head and they won't let me go to sleep". I try to explain to him that will never go away as long as he lives and he'll have to learn how to turn the thoughts and voices off!!
The school made a Veteran's Day video and someone was kind enough to let me know my superstar is at the 6:08 minute mark at this link.
Another big event in November is the beginning of deer season. I didn't get many photos but we still had a great time. A lot of newer, younger people seem to come to deer camp and the boys are very active playing with Briley and other kids there now. The goal was for hunters to shoot a doe before attempting to shoot a trophy buck. Drew had a successful season harvesting several does and some bigger deer that he had been watching. I can't remember the exact total of deer killed, but I know they cut the doe population down by 50+, which was the goal.
Now pics and video for the month:

Auntie Shasta surprised the boys with a giant bear that they have loved to pieces.
Griffin also really loves to draw. This was a robot he cranked out with a pen one night.
Y Winners basketball started and Griffin did really well. I foresee daddy and Griffin hitting the basketball hoop at Ma & Pa's a lot soon.
We celebrated Colton's birthday at the bounce house in West Plains.
some mall shopping with my partner |
this group of ladies created our own Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning |
Here is little sicky on Thanksgiving Day. I was so pleased that they were open and we got him some relief. Croup stinks. I'm thankful for those doctors and nurses that still work on holidays!
I had a fantastic birthday weekend. Escape room, dinner, drinks, fondue. All my favs.
The next day we went to a Chiefs game. In high school, I was able to dance at several pre-season game halftime shows through cheerleading but I had not been back since. We had an awesome time even though they lost.
The boys surprised me with a homemade birthday cake!
This also came from the daycare facebook page, and is Cooper's attempt at writing his name! Too cute.
