October Monthly Update

October.....you will be missed!

It was jammed packed with trips, birthday parties, holidays, and fun stuff.

Cooper has become quite vocal at 26 months old. It seems like his vocabulary is exploding, piecing words together to make sentences and attempting to repeat anything he hears. He's a problem solver, just like his brother. Where there is a will, there's a way. He is still more sensitive than Griffin, and a harsh look/tone or spanking will really ruin his day. He is the perfect little bro.

Griffin is growing up by the minute. He's becoming so mature. We love his tenacity and struggle with it at the same time. I'm learning to not be such a "No" Mom and keep my OCD in check. He loves to sweep, mop, vacuum, and though it may not be a top notch quality job when he's involved, I should appreciate his willingness.

Tara visited us a little which makes Cooper and I really happy. I desperately want my boys to grow up with a family dog but can't pull the trigger on anything there yet.

We shot some clays in preparation for our trip to the Dakotas.

the occasional fauxhawk

silly boys in the tub

the boys got to sit in the fire truck at the last hometown football game for a bit

Drew killed a turkey during the Fall season. The boys thought it was intriguing!

Thanks to a suggestion from Nicole, I'm going to try to get a good picture of the boys in the bath for a black and white print. This was my first attempt.

Couldn't help but include this collage from instagram that I made.

Fire safety night at the station with Uncle Brent
We visited the Animal Shelter for a little love.

Eric and Jimi helped us get the mega rocks from the Dakotas moved into place!

This was Griffin coming out to see what was going on after waking up.....hahahahaha!

Adam removed a nail from my tire one morning before school

Cooper helped me get hay for the horses and met the Whetstine's llama

Trevor gave us a lesson in concrete

I love monthly updates because it reminds me of all the wonderful people we know. My boys are lucky to grow up in our small community. Life is good.
