Turkey Season 2016

No more hunting between now and Fall, woohoo!

I love to see Drew in his element and doing what he enjoys, but it is also super exhausting for all of us. He leaves the house between 4 and 5am, walks/crawls all morning in the outdoors, tries to get whoever he may be taking on a bird, goes to work, and goes to bed late each night. I wasn't getting up in the morning but the kids were staying up way too late and I was responsible for getting them to daycare in the morning and myself to work on time. That is usually Drew's task to get the kids up and out the door. I applaud him for how much work that is!

It was good to see all of our friends and the business associates of Drew's as they passed through the last 3 weeks.

The boys got to play outside A LOT, my favorite hunter tagged out with his 2 birds, and we are thankful.

The second bird came on the last Saturday, and Cooper got to follow in the footsteps of his big brother. He was enthralled by it and both boys loved to feel it's feathers.
