Griffin went to color eggs with Briley and Aunt Cole on Friday. He did not forget her offer from earlier in the week! God bless her for taking on that task.
On Saturday morning, we barely made it to the park in time to participate in the city Easter egg hunt. Griffin was confused about all the eggs just laying out in the open on the basketball court. I guess they thought Cabool's 3 and 4 year olds needed them in plain sight! Nevertheless, he enjoyed all 7 minutes of it.
My turn to teach Children's Church fell on Easter Sunday. That is always an interesting 30 minutes of my life. Drew was there to help, as well as another friend that is also a school teacher. It took every bit of all 3 of us to keep things under control, but we had a good time.
Afterward, we had Easter lunch in town.
