The Shrine Circus comes to town......

Griffin experienced his first circus this week!  We were given free tickets by friends of ours and it was a good thing, because we still spent almost $50 on all the "goodies" they peddle before and during the show. I'm glad we went, but I can see how parents to multiple children would have a hard time affording it!

Here's our breakdown:
     Pony ride: $8
     Jump house: $6
     Elephant ride: $10
     Green sword: $10
     Sno cone: $5
     Popcorn & drink: $5
     Coloring book for bike raffle: $2
     
Yes, all these things were necessities!

 

it's a good thing the ticket girls gave me an elephant ticket instead
of a camel ride ticket like I asked, because that's what he wanted

 

Daddy took one for the team and rode the elephant too.....
not only to hold him on board, but in case any crazy elephant rampage happened.
I was a little nervous.....
