Griffin had his first big Friday night party. While we went to team sorting Griffin stayed with his cousin Briley. He was still awake when we got home at midnight! Although he was in good spirits like usual, it definitely made for an interesting Saturday.
This is Griffin enjoying lunch......he never came close to waking up.
There wasn't enough time to get to the pumpkin patch (will try again next weekend) so we went to find buckeyes instead.
We found Griffin's Great Grandpa on the tractor, so of course he had to get in and check everything out.
Also enjoyed some riding in Daddy's lap on the farm......
Saturday evening we went to a benefit auction for a young guy from Cabool that has been wounded in Afghanistan. We got there early to drop off our crockpot of chili and Griffin was ready to go before the auction ever started.

I put him to bed at 6pm and he slept until the next morning. He and Briley must have had a big night.
Sunday we celebrated Griffin's Great Great Grandma's 99th birthday! Can't wait for the big 1-0-0 next year!

That afternoon we went to our second baby shower of the month, for another potential girlfriend for Griffin. Although this one had no pretty young girls his age for him to hug, we still had a nice time.
And more random snaps from playing outside:
