Honeycutt Family Vacation 2018 - Part 1 Colorado

The Honeycutt family went back to Estes Park, CO for vacation this year but we had a couple big firsts on this trip. Brent, Nichole, and Briley joined the fun. Then, we swung up into the Dakotas on our way home and the boys and I got to see it green, hot, and during summer rather than the opposite. 

We stayed at the base of Longs Peak. The road from our house to the trailhead was not very long, but almost straight up. Drew and I both biked it. Wow, tough. 

I can't go on vacation and not ride a horse. I found a horseback riding place in Estes that would allow Cooper to ride. I thought maybe when we got there that they would see him and say he was too small. They did not. I was a bit nervous since most rides include some steep steps and switchbacks. None of the boys were nervous and we had a GREAT ride. Cooper was too cute. 

Estes Park Rodeo was going on and none other than Trevor Brazile was there! He's a big deal in the rodeo world.
