Mother's Day Weekend 2015

A little late, but we have to mark my first Mother's Day as a mother of two!

We met with my family on Saturday evening and had a nice (in terms of a regular dinner out involving kids) dinner at the Longhorn with Orange Leaf for dessert. We were able to Skype with Shasta and our cousin in California while at my Grandma's house. Granny was able to see new baby Emma in "real life" ahead of her trip out west in a few weeks. She was thrilled. Score one for technology.

Aunt Shiloh loves to snap selfies and took some pictures from the evening.

We saw all of Drew's family on Sunday for lunch. Griffin LOVES hanging with Briley and it won't be long before Cooper is chasing after them. Thanks to Sherry and Nichole for snapping these pics.

I had a nice weekend and enjoyed cards from my boys.

And lastly, a mommy selfie with my boys to end the weekend:

Easter 2015

So thankful for an extra day off of work for Good Friday!! Sadly, it didn't feel like a long weekend to me, but we enjoyed every minute of it.

Griffin went to color eggs with Briley and Aunt Cole on Friday. He did not forget her offer from earlier in the week! God bless her for taking on that task.

On Saturday morning, we barely made it to the park in time to participate in the city Easter egg hunt. Griffin was confused about all the eggs just laying out in the open on the basketball court. I guess they thought Cabool's 3 and 4 year olds needed them in plain sight! Nevertheless, he enjoyed all 7 minutes of it.

My turn to teach Children's Church fell on Easter Sunday. That is always an interesting 30 minutes of my life. Drew was there to help, as well as another friend that is also a school teacher. It took every bit of all 3 of us to keep things under control, but we had a good time.

Afterward, we had Easter lunch in town.

Followed by a quick egg hunt in the cold......

Thanks to Aunt Sherry for all the "selfie" photos. She is the master and they don't even include her!!

Cooper will be in the egg hunting pictures next year!
