Shiloh scored tickets to Alanis Morissette performing in Tulsa back in December. Somehow, the stars aligned and we were able to turn it into a sister vacation. Shasta flew into Missouri and after a quick visit to Cabool, we got on the road. We had big plans:
Thursday: Alanis at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tulsa
Friday: Pioneer Woman day - drive to Pawhuska for a visit to the Mercantile and a Lodge Tour
Saturday: St. Patrick's Day in Oklahoma City
Sunday: Fun is over.....go home
After the concert, I tried my hand at Blackjack. I wavered between winning and losing, but I ended up quitting at $50 ahead. Success!
On to Pawhuska the next morning.....
On the outskirts of Oklahoma City, we stopped for some indoor skydiving that was on my list.
The rest of our weekend was spent wandering around Bricktown in OKC for St. Patrick's Day festivies. Shiloh and I went for a run, we watched a parade, and a really awesome Van Halen cover band that provided lots of laughter.
