July Monthly Update

July started rainy, so I don't have many pictures around the 4th. We barely saw any fireworks. It's another sad reminder that Marta is no longer around since she LOVED the 4th and always planned a family get together for it. We had several other July events (Griffin's birthday/California/vacation) and they all get their own posts, so this one may be short and sweet. 

We had a small gathering of friends at the Gettys' farmhouse.

We cheered Chase on at the rodeo when he tried mutton bustin' for the first time. 

More outdoor projects were in the works. The retaining wall made use nervous all the time (go figure) so we bit the bullet and had a walkway put in.  Also a few more planter areas were cleaned up and bordered from the rest of the yard. 

We had also been talking about trading my vehicle for something bigger. Usually I'm the persistent one that makes things happen, but this was all Drew.
