It's official.......Cooper is potty trained! This doesn't apply to overnights, and doesn't mean we are completely accident-free, but the MAJORITY of the time, he recognizes he needs to go and asks to use a bathroom. I especially love how he has to pat his own butt and say "poo poo" with a scared look on his face when it's time for #2.
He is also speaking more words all the time. I noticed that he has memorized counting to 10.... and a bunch of gibberish after that. He also calls Griffin something that sounds like "Bitten".
He's the chocolate to Griffin's vanilla. When he gets in trouble, he immediately wants to kiss you or simply says "Okay" in a defeated voice as he does what he's told, while Griffin would have given you the most hateful look he could muster. He does a great job at sharing and is all around pretty easy to get along with.
Griffin has moved from rhyming words to opposites now. He also loves to write simple words: stop, yes, no, Mom, Dad, and all of our names. This afternoon Drew said it was N-A-P time and Griffin chimed in, "it's nap time?"
He also saw the ENT doctor to check on his adenoids. For years he's snored, gagged easily, breathed through his mouth, had bad breath, etc. His pediatrician thought it would be a good idea to get the back of his mouth/throat check out. The verdict is that 1 is large and the other is borderline. The specialist gave us the option to go ahead and have his tonsils/adenoids removed or to start him on daily allergy medicine to see if we noticed a difference......we went with the latter for now and we'll see what happens.
And the duo....
