Here we go again!

 

We are excited.......and ready........we think. 

This second time around is a lot different than with Griffin. When I'm not feeling sick, I can almost forget that we are expecting. I'm sure that will change in time. This pregnancy may be going faster because we waited several more weeks for our first appointment than last time. I went in thinking I was 10 wks and due September 8th. The doctor decided otherwise after the ultrasound and determined the due date will be August 30th. Tomorrow will begin week 14. Time flies. We saw that this baby does have 2 arms and 2 legs. That was a relief, and something I didn't see with Griffin until our big ultrasound much later. This baby was also flipping and wiggling around like an Olympic snowboarder on the half pipe......crazy. In the bottom photo, you can clearly make out legs and a side view of a foot.

We finally told Griffin tonight that he is going to be a big brother. He is such a talker now, and very familiar with babies since Mrs. Jessica at daycare is expecting. I figured as soon as we said something to him, he would be telling the world all about it. 

We have a lot to think about, most importantly to me......names and room arrangements. Also, we are excited that our good friends are expecting with a due date of the 28th (Chase's mom and dad). So much fun ahead!
