Peyton and Owen seemed to have a great time, since they had never been before. Cooper was a good sport while watching everyone else get to have fun. Griffin is now tall enough to ride a lot of things with an adult.....wow. I'm glad we made an effort to go!
first real rollercoaster EVER, Thunderation!! |
Griffin insisted that Chris ride the swings with him.
When it gets dark, Silver Dollar City lights up.
Everyone got to ride The Lost Mines.
And the most terrifying moment of the night came when Griffin agreed to ride Powderkeg. It has a lap restraint and goes upside down several times after shooting you off at 60 mph from the start. I had my first mom moment, wondering if he REALLY was big enough to do such a thing. He wasn't phased and once again wanted to ride beside Chris. Peyton wasn't so sure about it, but rode like a champ.
We stopped at Lamberts in Ozark for dinner afterward. A last supper before our goodbyes. Here's hoping that next year we can have more fun again.
And some pics from Shiloh:
