Pumpkin Patch Fun

There are several pumpkin patches in our area, and we had the opportunity (between a work event and 2 birthday parties) to visit them all last weekend. 

Drew was about to leave to go up north, so rather than run ragged all weekend, we picked one. It was a birthday party for Claire and Ella. The weather was gorgeous and the boys had an absolute blast with all their friends.

 Maybe next year I'll actually get a picture of them with a pumpkin!

California comes to town!

We don't get to see our west coast family very often. So when cousin Alicia came to town to visit, it was a real treat. She brought Grandma Delores down for the day from Springfield, and it also happened to be during the corn harvest for the year. We had a nice lazy day at the house, fun on the farm, and a good dinner before we said goodbye. 

It all started with a mission to get buckeyes!
